Doubt cast over EDL Tweet

EDL News has examined the evidence for the 'EDL #Newtown' tweet.

Although the tweet looked genuine enough and came as no surprise to any seasoned EDL watcher, it was when Jason Willman released his 'video evidence' that we became suspicious. The URL shown took us to a Twitter 'page not found' message, which is only to be expected if the rogue admin had deleted it.

However, when EDL News investigated the actual URL further, it turns out that it was an Official EDL URL, but from something posted on September 1st around 6.00PM.

Twitter URLs are issue sequentially and all tweets posted on the night in question (14 December) started with the numbers /2797. The URL claimed by Jason Willman starts with /2419 which is from the beginning of September. To demonstrate this, look at the URL of this Justin Beiber tweet. It starts with /2419 just as the 'claimed' tweet does.

https://twitter.com/justinbieber/status/241975701660635136

As can be seen, this tweet is from a good three and a half months before last Friday's shootings.

Why is EDL News doing the EDLs legwork?

Because we have always been scrupulous about accuracy in our reporting and fake screenshots undermine everybody's good work. We are not saying that the tweet was not made by the EDL then quickly deleted, but what we are saying is that the URL evidence is definitely fake which throws doubt on the tweet itself.

However, there is no doubt being cast over the following Tweet which confirms the EDL are white supremacists

The EDL sure do love their pictures of semi-naked, helpless white children, don't they?

They stole the photo from ‘Revelations’ (2005) by American photo-artist, Jill Greenberg

We don't get our panties in a twist about what colour people's skin is. We are also not so insecure we have to get all het up about what colour our own skin is.

Glad to answer your question.

Scousehead- 1st not knowing the difference between religion and race and now accusing people of being commies. If racists actually had a brain. People like you want Britain to return to how it was. Yet you never lived or experienced pre 60s. Explain to me how this country was like 100 years before mass immigration arrived. It was immigrants who took jobs the low white class thought they were too good to do. Look at the mess post ww2(something your hero Hitler created) and without immigrants coming in, this country would have not evolved.

So you're not a fan of Karl Marx? Well you seem to like political correctness a lot, and that ideal comes straight from cultural marxism, which of course is an ideology that he dreamed up.

Where do we like political correctness? We just dislike racist halfwits and enjoy exposing them

Give me a reference to a point in any text written by Marx that uses the phrase "political correctness" or name one of Marx's works in which he discusses the issue of political correctness. If you cant do either of these things then please, for your own sake, learn what communism and Marxism actually are because, by repeatedly using those words wrongly, you and your buddies are showing yourselves to be utterly ignorant regarding political theory. Sorry, people using words they blatantly don't understand is one of my pet hates.

OK where to start with this? Political Correctness is nothing to do with Karl Marx, is nothing to do with Marxism but in fact is the use of non-offensive language and originated in the 1970s. Cultural Marxism is the use of Marxist theory to analyse culture and dates from the 1930s onwards. Karl Marx didn't invent any ideology called Marxism, which was derived from his followers developing his theories. He famously said about Marxism, "If that is Marxism, then I am not a Marxist".

Cultural Marxism in the way you are referring to it comes from the fevered imaginations of Patrick Buchanan and William S. Lind, a couple of extremely right wing Americans. It's used to attack Jews and to accuse them of "pursuing a Jewish agenda in establishing and participating in these movements." No different from the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. It was also used by Anders Breivik as his reason for killing 77 people. So well done, you've subscribed to a belief held by American anti-Semites and a Norwegian terrorist! :-*

Marx's ideology is fundamentally flawed, its as bad as the Far Rights.

I love the logic, if we are not Nationalists then we are automatically Communists

The "Loyalists" and "Republicans" should be left in the past with the atrocities both groups have committed.

The world doesn't need people like this anymore; they are a relic of a dark time

I always believed in the strategy of "Knowing your enemy".

So why don't they read Marx and if unable to understand it, read it again and again until they understand before they resort to 'labelling 101' and 'Group-think studies 101'?
