I can see some aspects of the '2nd amendment' debate better than most of my political stripe. But Christ, does this guy makes a good case for strong gun laws.

He seems only young and there is every chance this is, at least in part, an attempt at building a personal narrative and identity where elsewise might be a gaping hole (that we would prefer, but not presumably all aspects of his psyche.

I aint a professional and I think he would benefit from professional attention. But I'm thinking some youth kind of decide to be in to rap, metal, motorbikes, socialism, rugby, whatever cultural or physical thing and build an identity round it in some way.

Although there is more info and opinion available to us than ever before, it follows that there is enough to prop up what we are comfortable with to never have to bother with anything else.

Such things as forums and facebook pages around a political opinion, especially a relative fringe one, act very much as an echo chamber and support for people who elsewhere would be (and often are) berated and laughed at.

Perhaps I'm in a good mood, but I would ask all of faith to pray / meditate for this guy and all those not of faith to at least hope things improve for him, if just for the sake of his potential future victims or victims of those who could look up to him in future (god forbid, but these things happen)

Yeah, you own the original images, but since Facebook actually host the images they hold the copyright and are the relevant party to be contacted r.e. reproducing them. All you can do is control who on Facebook can see it. However, you can't stop them from reproducing it or passing it on. You can REQUEST them not to, or take an image down, but since this isn't facebook, you'd need to contact the editor to get them removed, and given your abuse I don't see that happening.

I can't believe I dated this guy I feel part to blame for this. I wish I could have been there for him more to prove that people are amazing just as God made them. It breaks my heart knowing this is what happened to him after I left him. I am glad now that we didn't work out. I'm happy with someone else I have always been on his parents side and after reading this I am more proud of what his parents did. I really hope he gets into shape he still has a chance to get a job and get a life he needs to get into shape first though!
