EDL Tweet Nazi websites to try and discredit Dr Goodwin

After a crushing defeat in a debate on the BBC 's Big Question this morning, Tommy Robinson has tried to hit back against Dr Matthew Goodwin by Tweeting a link to a neo Nazi site to try and discredit him as a 'cultural marxist' and a 'communist'.

Metapedia a website of choice for neo Nazis and white supremacists to look up information on the Internet. The website, a thinking Nazis Redwatch list, posts wiki pages about political opponents and is in the main, derogatory about them all.

Dr Matthew Goodwin is a lecturer at the University of Nottingham who recently published a  book, The New British Fascism: Rise of the BNP. He was invited on the show along with Tommy Robinson to discuss whether ignoring the far right would be complacent.

People they do like however are Adolf Hitler who they describe as a 'charismatic oratory skills to emphasize the dangers the nation faced from International Jewry and Communism'

Here is what the website has to say about gays:

Sodomites, "homosexuals" or "aberrosexuals" are persons who engage in the sexual perversion of sodomy, or unnatural physical relationships with persons of the same gender as themselves. The term "sodomy" comes comes from Sodom, an ancient Palestinian city that was notorious for such perverted behavior. Proponents of the homosexualist ideology are most infamous for their assertion that the sewers of the human body should be used for sexual gratification. An anti-social peversion of the natural order, considering it holds no reproductive purpose and aids only in the spreading of disease.

They describe Wikipedia as a far-left and Judeocentric, multilingual wiki project, censured by an internal bureaucracy of tribal editing clans to conform to a largely neo-Marxist and Zionist viewpoint.

Wikipedia however describe them as Metapedia is a multilingual white nationalist and white supremacist, extreme right-wing online encyclopedia which I doubt they would disagree with.

According to the North Rhine-Westphalian Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Metapedia's articles are characterized by historical revisionism and lauding Nazi Germany.

Here is the Tweet posted by the English Defence League shortly after Tommy's disastrous showing on television this morning.

Tommy, who has just arrived back from a demo in Denmark where he spent the weekend associating with neo Nazi types, spent a large part of the show unsucessfully trying to convince the audience that there was no Nazi involvement in the English Defence League but this screenshot clearly states there is.

what an idiot. Dr Goodwin is a professer from the University of Nottingham -- one of the most prestigious universities of our country. It is known for its Academic excellence and expectional teaching quality.

I cant believe this narrowminded chav would try and discredit, Dr. Goodwin/or Uni of Nottingham for that matter.

 The comment section here looks like the same circle jerk as the website. Tommy Robinson was not humiliated, nor was it a disastrous appearance. What i saw were people not listening to what he actually said & hearing something different due to previously held beliefs. If you have already decided what to think about something before you actually hear it, your not going to discover anything. If you want to ignore the people who have a problem (real or otherwise) with Islamism who are not or ever likely to be EDL members, until it's a major problem fine, but i wont contribute.

Your problem is, he has stated that all Muslims are a target so after that he really has not got much to whine about if people think he is an extremist nut and are not interested in what her says.

And his debate with Goodwin went that well he had to tweet from a nazi website to try and discredit him.

@bismarket

the chav WAS undermined in that appearance. He had no justifiable answers to the questions he was asked. No evidence to support his statements. All his views are based on his PERSONAL experiences/vie ws/opinions and he has passed/peddled these onto the unemployed chavs who follow him and genuinely believe the UK/Europe; the world infact! is heading towards an 'Islamic Revolution'.

Now, Ive never visited Luton. I dont know what its like. What I do know is that NOT every town/city/count y is like Luton. Hence all of Steven's claims are subjective and NOT objective facts.

Islamic Extremism exists, thats a fact that cannot be refuted. But so does Christian fundamentalism, and Jewish fundamentalism. Extremism, be it in whatever religion, is like a tiny cell! You simply, cannot judge an entire religion including 1.4 Billion human beings on that. Most Muslims in the UK (yes, they arent all 'immigrants' some are actually born and bred here!)are normal, law abiding citizens who want to go about with their daily lives. Tarring them with the same brush as the islamic extremists is a ludicrous notion.

i remember watching an interview of the EDL leader once, a muslim guy on the interview says to Steven, ''you've got all your information from the media''. Steven replies oh so smugly, ''No, not from the media, its from the internet''. :D

After studying Islam, Islamism, Radicalisation, Counter-Radical isation, Terrorism, Causes of Terrorism, etc, for the last decade, I don't personally consider a Far-Right bigot and a racist football hooligan to be a source for knowledge.

Then please tell us oh learned one... what is the answer to the Islamists in this country. What should we be doing about it? How do we stop it. How do we prevent anymore home grown terrorists? How do we get multi-cultural England to suit everybody?

Seriously, if you`ve got the answers I`d love to know them?
